Hard at work practicing with fractions

Today we refocused our attention on mastering working with fractions and simplifying them.

We really need to work on finding factors and especially finding the GCF (Greatest Common Factor).

But Teacher I Know How To Do It. . .

"If you say you understand something,

then you can explain what you understand to others.

Anything short of that is deception, not understanding.

Education, above all, should not be about fostering deception.

In the same vein, anything not understood in more than one

way is not understood at all."

What We Did Today

Today we discussed areas that we struggled with during testing last week. The two big areas that most of us had trouble were:

1) Poetry
2) Simplifying Fractions

So we reviewed these areas today, and will continue for the next few days to make sure we get a better grasp of them.
